The XXVII International "Shabyt" Creative Youth Competition took place in Astana from October 21 to 25. TURAN ensemble members Zhantu Dadabayev and Aslan Gumarov participated in the competition.
Taking part in the category of folk instruments, Aslan Gumarov (sybyzgy) won 2nd place and Zhantu Dadabaev (shankobyz) received the diploma award.
